Location data is a core part of the Road Rescue Kenya service. When a customer requests assistance, we may collect and use their GPS pin or location details to identify the exact pickup point and help the assigned rescue partner navigate to the customer efficiently.
Customer location information is used for service delivery, dispatch coordination, and route tracking. It is not intended for public display.
Phone numbers provided by customers and rescue partners may be used for direct calls and WhatsApp communication related to active requests, service coordination, identity confirmation, customer support, and urgent updates.
Email addresses may be used to send important updates, notices, service-related communication, verification outcomes, and account-related information.
To help maintain trust and safety on the platform, rescue partners may be required to provide verification details, including their vehicle plate number, ID number, and ID photo. We use this information to confirm identity, support authentication, reduce fraud risk, and improve customer confidence in the platform.
Verified rescue partners may receive a visible verification badge or status on the platform.
Payments may be processed through third-party services such as M-Pesa. We may retain transaction-related details necessary for payment confirmation, reconciliation, dispute resolution, and record keeping. Road Rescue Kenya does not store sensitive credentials such as M-Pesa PINs.
